| Julia Farjat nació en Buenos Aires. Cursó estudios de escultura con los maestros LEO TAVELLA, ALBERTO BALIETTI, JULIÁN AGOSTA y otros conocidos artistas plásticos. A partir de 1972 comienza a especializarse en ESCULTURA y desarrolla una intensa actividad en esta disciplina, trabajando con diferentes materiales (modelado, cerámica, granito reconstituído, cemento directo, mármol, piedra, granito,madera y hierro, etc). Mientras trabajaba y experimentaba en su taller asistió a seminarios en las Escuelas Nacionales PRILIDIANO PUEYRREDÓN y ERNESTO DE LA CARCOVA. Realizó numerosas muestras individuales y colectivas en galerías del país y extranjeras. Participó en Salones Nacionales, Municipales y Museos nacionales e internacionales. Ha recibido 47 premios en concursos y salones nacionales e internacionales, hasta obtener en el año 1998 el premio del 1er. Ministro de Korea en la ciudad de Ichon, Seul, República de Korea . En el año 2004 obtiene el 1er. Premio en Escultura "Gobierno de la Provincia de Santa Fe" entregado en el Museo Rosa Galisteo de Rodriguez, por su obra "Memoria" y el 1er. Premio en Escultura en el "Salón Nacional de Artes Visuales 2004" de la Secretaría de Cultura de la Nación, por su obra "Esencia y forma". (Buenos Aires - Argentina) . Invitada, junto a otras escultoras argentinas por el MUSEO PERLOTTI en los años 1992 y 1993 para rendir homenaje a la escultora argentina LOLA MORA. Esculturas de su autoría se encuentran en : • CIRCUITO
de las NACIONES del AEROPUERTO INTERNACIONAL BENITO JUÁREZ
(México) (2006) 21 esculturas de su autoría se hallan emplazadas en lugares públicos. Miembro de la INTERNATIONAL SCULPTORS FRIENDSHIP ASSOCIATION. Sede KOREA. Participó entre otras, en la "International Sculptor' s Interchange Exibition" realizada en el Metropolitan Museum de Seul. Participación en concursos y simposios de escultores Nacionales e Internacionales, en presencia de público en: Ciudad de La Rioja- Argentina; 3 veces en la Ciudad de Rosario - Santa Fe - Argentina; Oberá - Misiones - Argentina; Villa Allende - Córdoba - Argentina; San Martín de los Andes - Neuquén - Argentina; San Bernardo - Buenos Aires - Argentina; Parque Avellaneda - Buenos Aires - Argentina; Ciudad de Ichon - República de Korea; Ciudad de Puyó - República de Korea; Rachana - República del Líbano; Ciudad de Blochus - Dinamarca; Kemijarve - Finlandia; Almería - España y Frederikshaven - Dinamarca.

JULIA FARJAT was born in Buenos Aires.She studied sculpture with the teachers LEO TAVELLA, ALBERTO BALIETTI, JULIÁN AGOSTA and other well-known plastic artists. Starting from 1972 she begins to specialize in SCULPTURE and she develops an intense activity in this discipline, working with different materials (marble, granite, wood and iron). She converged to seminars in the National Schools PRILIDIANO PUEYRREDÓN and ERNESTO de la CARCOVA. While she worked and she experienced in their shop, she attended different courses related with the plastic arts. She carried out numerous samples singular and collective in galleries of the country and foreigners. She participated in National, Municipal Living rooms and national and international Museums. She became worthy of 45 national and international prizes along her career. Summoned among Argentinean sculptors to surrender homage to LOLA MORA in the years 1992 and 1993 for the MUSEUM PERLOTTI. Works of the scathing one of MUSEUMS and the EMBASSY of the LEBANON and in private collections of the country and of the foreigner and integrating selection juries. Location of her sculptures in VILLAGE BALLESTER, in the town of MORENO, in the district of MERLO (2 sculptures). In the capital of La Rioja. In Oberá (Missions). In ROSARY'S city (Santa Fe, ARGENTINA). Member of the INTERNATIONAL SCULPTORS FRIENDSHIP ASSOCIATION. Headquarters KOREA. She participated among other, in the International Sculptor' s Interchange Exibition carried out in the Metropolitan Museum of Seul. SYMPOSIUM San Martin de los ANDES (2001) Summoned in 1997 by the Foundation PROSCENIUM to create the estatuíllas given to the artists LIBERO BADII, JULIO BOCCA and NICOLÁS GARCIA URIBURU. In 2001 for the Foundation PROSCENIUM to create the estatuíllas for the Prof JAIM ETCHEVERRY, MaestroWASHINGTON CASTRO and to the Arq. JACQUES BEDEL .
